Alive: The Final Evolution (アライブ -最終 進化的 少年- ,
Araibu - Saishū Shinkateki Shōnen) is a manga written by Tadashi Kawashima and illustrated by Adachitoka. The manga was originally published by Kodansha in Japan and is published in English by Del Rey Manga.
So far, fifteen volumes have been published in Japan, five in America
and eleven in Indonesia. The series is being made into an anime.
Plot:The story follows Taisuke Kanou a teenage student in Japan who lives
a normal life with his sister Yoko Kanou and his friends Yuichi Hirose
and Megumi Ochiai until a dark-being in space senses life on Earth. The
sky suddenly becomes dark and mass suicides begin occurring worldwide.
The dark-being, Aukuro, is the result of many souls of a civilization
who were granted immortality but without a body wanted to die. When
Aukuro found Earth, they separated and entered human hosts and tempted
them to commit suicide. Those who resisted were granted powers relating
to their own unconscious desires. When Hirose discovered his powers, he
kidnapped Megumi and headed north to the heart of Aukuro. Taisuke,
obtaining his own powers, follows in an attempt take Hirose and Megumi
back home. On his adventures, he learns people with powers are called
Comrades and is accompanied by comrades Yuuta and Nami. He tracks down
Hirose to a lake where he absorbs Akuro's heart. Later Taisuke defeats
him but the only thing remaining is Akuro's heart.

Nota Pessoal: Esta foi mais uma das Mangas que tropessei sem querer e que neste momento ando a seguir semanalmente, e uma Manga que a mim pessoalmente me prendeu, tem bastantes boa personagens bem construidas, e com muito boa evoluçao a meu ver...Para quem gosta do genero (como eu ^^) creio que e um bom titulo para se ler :P
